burn calendar, extended ical files

black rock city

i decided to extend this and include more dates... you can download these files, stuff 'em in your calendar, see what's going on -*tons* of events this year, with dozens of regionals this summer alone. (the files are 'ical' format, ics files).

my list for 2007, including regionals & other events:
burn calendar for 2007
burn calendar (csv format)

burn dates till 2012, 'equinox' (solstinox) & gates:
burn dates 2008-2012

2007 ranger training schedule (contact rangers for info/rsvp):
ranger training 2007

2007 dpw work weekends, (contact dpw / foxtrot before heading out!):
dpw work weekends 2007

all public info, all unofficial, just my list and subject to change. double check info before travelling. does not contain any MSG. some events listed as regionals might not actually be regionals, check the burningman website. zero calories. feel free to send updates. may contain phat. also, if you don't know where an event is, neither do i. sorry if i didn't catch your event, post an email or comment and i will add it. enjoy!

calendar sync/subscribe

looks like there are more widgets to make sync'ing/subscribing to calendars easy (easier). for example, you can 'subscribe' to my current burn calendar for 2007, using this address:

http://www.7hertz.com/download/calendar/2007/burn2007.ics

i've just been playing around with this stuff a bit, but here's how:

windows/outlook:
for outlook 2003/2007 there's a plug-in called 'remotecalendar' (posted on sourceforge), and lets you sync with calendars on the web (e.g. sync to google calendars, subscribe to the 'burn dates').

macs:
on the mac, the 'ical' program lets subscribe to a remote calendar. just choose 'subscribe', use the url for the calendar, and choose a refresh rate. there's also some software called 'spanning sync' which will let you sync as well.

google calendars:
download, then import into gcal.

palm:
try a program called isync?
