after about 2 months of not using (or charging) my HBH-35 headset, it stopped working.
i went to charge it and the led flickered intermittently, orange -- not red or green (both simultaneously? appears that way, seems to be the first thing that happens during power-up, on a working model).

i'm assuming the battery was too depleted, or perhaps ruined by a bad charger, that it couldn't power up, even just to charge.
i read the manual. the trouble shooting guide merely recommends repeated attempts at charging, nothing more. i did that for days and gave up, hoping the charge would settle in the battery - but no luck. herein lies the problem, can’t replace the battery. it’s nice and slim, but dead. (can’t you have both – slim and replaceable battery? well, all of these models will die eventually!).
i was starting to believe it was a lost cause. forgot about it for about two weeks.
then i tried it one more time. the led flickered orange, and went red. voilá. charged up. been working, like normal ever since.
i still have to power up the headset before the phone (most of the time) to get it so pair up properly, and keep it well charged. Otherwise, the thing is brilliant.
